VUDU
Vudu’s current visual style Inception was first introduced in the beginning of July 2019 as a series of A/B tests showed that our customers responded very well toward our new bold, colorful, and dimensional layout. Later accompanied by our “Watch What We Do” campaign, the goal of this refresh was to raise brand awareness, establish a strong brand image and ultimately drive more traffic to our website through marketing collateral. As part of the Design/Marketing team, our challenges include creatively carrying out the new brand image throughout all channels without losing it’s potency, educating other departments to adopt to the new designs, and continuously refining the Inception style to reduce unnecessary graphics and text to make the page hierarchy clear.

Each week, I come up with fresh unique design lockups based on special promotions from our marketing department. It can challenging sometimes tryin go make something new but still stay within required Vudu branding.

For seasonal and special promotions, designers get together to explore different visual options, from moodboard to color keys to logo lockups. We work as a team to come up with the best ideas to push forward.

Creating Social Media posts is part of my job as a marketing graphic designer at VUDU. We normally use predetermined categories such as Celebrity Birthdays, Film Fact, Movie Quote and Polls for content. I work to find the best images and graphics to convey the content in a fun and engaging manner.

I worked closely with marketing manager to create this new multichannel marketing campaign to stream free, family-friendly movies at a specific time each week. The goal is to raise Vudu Brand Awareness via grassroots viral marketing. Go beyond the television by providing coloring pages or other offline activities for kids to work on with their parents, encouraging them to share their work with others via social media channels using the #VuduMovieNight
